Bourjois happy light foundation review

2 weeks ago 3 of my favourite drugstore foundations all ran out within a week - horrendous! So I ran to my nearest boots and saw this new shining foundation on the display and it really caught my eye!
In the past I've never had any Bourjois foundations and have always fancied testing the healthy mix version out but with a price tag of approximately £10.99 I always thought that was quite pricey for a drugstore product and have always in the past stuck to Rimmel or Maybelline!
However, I broke a habit and picked up the Bourjois happy light in the shade light beige (52) at the promotional price of £7.99 in boots. I've used the product pratically everyday for the past 2 weeks and it's working wonders my skin its got good coverage and with a touch of concealer my skin looks healthy and dewy. I'd say the coverage is light - medium but you can definitely build it up by buffing in a little more on those areas where it's needed.
So all round I'm genuinely pleased I found this little gem and would definitely recommend it to you beauty lovers out there 😊

Escentual.com skincare order

Was very excited when I got home from uni today to find my order had arrived!

I decided I needed to step up my skincare routine a notch so after some research I decided on these beauty's! Escentual.com currently has 1/3 off all French pharmacy brands so I thought id best stock up!

These are my second bottles of bioderma sensibo in both my 250ml and 100ml. My last 250ml both last a good few months and I used my 100ml all throughout summer so they've last pretty well and I definitely agree when people say it's the best micelle water because it's just amazing! Allows all stubborn makeup to be swept off in one go - simply genius!

Ive heard miracle things about the la Roche-posay effaclar duo and as my skin isn't the best I thought I'd try it out and see if it really is magic! I also bought a sneaky size bottle of the eau thermale water too as I needed something to refresh my skin during the day.

Lastly I went for the Vichy normaderm 3 in 1 as I needed a new daily scrub and as it claims to be a cleanser + scrub + mask all in one this also sounds like a pretty good deal to me!

Going to test these out and see how they go hoping for excellent results!

Makeup menu

On the menu today:

Bourjois happy light foundation - 52 light beige
Collection concealer - medium
Benefit boi-ing concealer - 02
Mac eyeshadows - woodwinked and satin taupe
Mac fluidline eye liner gel - local wares
Rimmel glam eyes mascara - black
Maxfactor clump defy mascara - black
Mac lipstick - syrup

These products create a daily look which I find is easy to do and long lasting. It's not to heavy but gives you a nice fresh look and is really easy to do! It takes me about 5 minutes to create and then your ready for the day!

I would give a quick spritz of the urban decay deslick makeup setting spray and then I'm ready for the day! 💗
