L'Oreal Pure Clay Purity Mask

There is no doubt that these new L'Oreal Paris Pure Clay Masks have been a must have since their recent release. They are currently on offer in Boots for just £5 until the start of August. I think you will be able to tell their popularity just by how many is left on the shelves which is probably very few, as all the boots which I have been into there has been very few available.

There are 3 different type of masks which are available - purity, detox and glow. The Boots which I went into only had the purity and glow masks, and it would just about happen that I wanted the detox! I already love detox masks especially The Sanctuary's 5 minute thermal detox mask. I find they give my skin a really deep cleanse into all the layers of my skin, and it leaves my face feeling refreshed and smooth. However, after reading about the purity mask, I thought that this may also work well for my skin as it a cleansing mask which mattifies oily skin. My skin over the years has gone much dried than it used to be. But I do still find that in my t zone especially my nose area it is still very oily. These masks have a really interesting marketing angle, as realistically everyone has certain areas of their skin which need a different kind of attention. Therefore L'Oreal are saying that you may need more than one mask at once in order to treat the targeted areas. I see the concept as being multi functional and using the different masks in different areas of the skin depending on the treatment needed. For example on me I would need the detoxing one on my chin as that is a congested acne area. I think the glow mask would work well on my cheeks and forehead in order to add some radiance and overall life back to those areas. Leaving the purity one to work its wonders on my oily areas which for me is mainly my nose.

When I first used this I applied the purity mask to my entire face like you would with any traditional face mask. The cream is light and easy to apply, I like the way the cream felt when on my skin as it was not overly sticky. It says to leave the mask on between 8-10 minutes. I definitely left it on for at least 10 minutes if not a little longer. One thing I did notice is the mask really hardens to a solid finish. Towards the end I was struggling to move my face at all and it was a little bit uncomfortable. Maybe I applied too much as like I said it is my first time using it so it is all about try and error to see how much you need. I have to say after washing it off my skin did feel very smooth and my areas of oiliness did seem more mattified. I really enjoyed using this face mask and I think I might have to pick up the other two and put the whole three masks at once theory to the test.

Have you tried this mask or either of the other two?

Holiday Essentials

I always have a few holiday essentials which come on any trip which I take abroad. I recently bought these sandals from the Next sale for £15 which I was super happy with. I think having a staple black pair of strappy sandals on holiday is a must have. They are perfect to wear on day trips for the comfort aspect, but also on the evening as you can wear them with so many outfits. My sister bought this big woven hat from Dorothy Perkins for my birthday and I love it. I always have to wear a hat as I am so fair and my head and face burn easy. I love the tan belt detailing around the rim as it as it adds some detail but the colour of it makes is super versatile. I picked up the sunglasses from Primark as I love the tortoise print around the rim.

The Batiste Dry Shampoo in Tropical has the scent of coconut and exotic tropical. This is really great on holiday for when you don't want to wash your hair, or if you just need a quick freshen up if it has been a very hot and sweltering day. It is great at tackling greasy roots and giving dull hair some life again. I am not one of those people who goes on holiday and wears tanning oil as I would definitely be burnt to a crisp. I bought the Soltan Protect and Moisturise Suncare Spray in factor 30. I am a fair headed girl, who also has pale skin with lots of freckles. This means I have to keep on top of reapplying suncream as I burnt ridiculously easy, and that is really not fun at all. This is such great value for £5 from Boots as the bottle contains 200ml. This range all contains the maximum of five stars against damage caused by UVA rays. The Vaseline Derma Beauty Deodorant is brilliant as it is in a compressed can which is one of the best creations the beauty industry have brought out in a while. It makes it so much more compact when you are travelling and it is easy to carry with you at all times. Whilst I am on holiday, I become super conscious of how much I am sweating so I reapply my deodorant at every available chance!

What are you holiday essentials?

Feeling Inbetween

This is a personal post which I have been wanting to write for a while now. I had a discussion with my mum about this recently and it really got me thinking.

I was super excited to move home after finishing my degree and leaving Carlisle for good. As a nurse the process of getting a job is complicated and you have to wait for your nursing pin to come through before starting within your new job role. I am able to start in mid September on a lower pay scale until my nursing pin comes through. However, that means that I have a nine week gap between finishing uni and starting my job. Throughout my three years, my degree has been very different to other degrees and we have never got the huge summers off by finishing in May like others have. We did however get 5-6 weeks off which was plenty. This may sound stupid but it has only just clicked with me that I am not heading back to uni in September, and this isn't just another summer break. Don't get me wrong, I am super excited to start my new job and obviously very apprehensive. I do however feel like I am ready to take my step into the nursing world, and start my career. This is a massive statement to process though, and for me one which scares me massively. I have days when I am so happy to be back home and I know I am super lucky to have an amazing job lined up. But on the other hand, I am stuck in some strange kind of limbo. The feeling that I am stuck in between.

The middle of September seems so far away, and it is. I am so lucky to be going on two holidays this year, as that will never be happening again! However, they obviously cost a lot, but I have saved for them thankfully. But, now I find myself with no job (for now) as I left my job in Carlisle to move home and there's a lot of strain on my finances. I feel like a lot of graduates are going to be in the same situation of not really sure where they fit in, and it is a very uneasy feeling. It is something which I cannot overcome as I know it is just a temporary measure, but this still causes a lot of anxious feelings. I feel that even moving back home and getting back into family life and not having that freedom and independence of living on my own which I have had is strange. I am used to doing things for myself which is something which I actually really enjoyed getting used to. The only way I describe it is that everything feels like it has taken a shift in a certain direction, and I feel off centre.

I was wondering if anyone feels or has ever felt like this? Like I have said I know it is a short-term problem, and before I know it everything should fall back into place pretty smoothly. But for now I feel like a bit off an outsider and not sure where I quiet with in with anything.

What's in my makeup bag: Hen Do

Last weekend I headed away on my first ever hen do and I am rather excited. I have packed and have successfully managed to streamline my makeup bag to just take all of my essentials.

The NYX Angel Veil Primer has featured in many of my posts recently as I have been really liking the cream texture of the formula. On a night out I like to use a medium-high coverage foundation and the Charlotte Tilbury Magic Foundation works perfectly. The formula is easy to blend, and I use a dampened Beautyblender to apply it. I use the dabbing technique in order to get a full coverage and I think it works really well. I always finish by adding a dusting of MAC Mineralise Skinfinish Powder to set everything into place. The Wet n Wild Bronzer in Ticket to Brazil is such a great drugstore alternative to Nars Orgasm Bronzer. It is a great bronzer which is not overly orange or too shimmery. In the summer MAC Peachykeens Blush is my go to shade, as it has a beautiful mix of both pink and peachy tones and adds a golden glow to my face. The MUA Underdress Your Skin Highlighter in Iridescent Gold is the latest addition to my makeup bag. For £3 it is a gorgeous white pearlised shade with gold shimmer running strongly throughout it.

The Charlotte Tilbury Quad Palette in Dolce Vita is such a great size and does not take up much room in makeup bag making it perfect for a weekend away. The four shades allow you to create a variety of different looks, whether it be something light and shimmery or dark and smokey. I always like to add a thin layer of my Kat Von D Tattoo Eyeliner in Trooper to pull together my look and make it more night time appropriate. To finish off my chosen eye look I always add a good few layers of my Maybelline Push Up Drama Mascara as it adds great volume and length to my lashes.

I have been really liking using the sample size of the Benefit Goof Proof Pencil. It is similar to the Anastasia Beverly Hills Eyebrow Definer, in terms of the shape and angle of the pencil. It has a slightly waxy formula and it is super easy to apply and does not drag. I think I have been a little dubious only packing the Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in Lolita II, as I always need more than one option. However, in my handbag I always have at least four or five floating around in the bottom so that should definitely cover me throughout the weekend!

Charlotte Tilbury Makeover

I recently turned 22, and I decided to treat myself to a makeover at Charlotte Tilbury. I have previously had makeovers done at MAC and Nars, and had been impressed. This was a bit of a last minute decision and they were both fully booked. If you have never had a makeover done at a makeup counter previously, it works by you paying a certain amount at Charlotte Tilbury it costs £35. At the end of your makeover you then get to choose £35 worth of makeup of your choice to take home.

I arrived at 5.55pm ready for my 6pm appointment, there was a little confusion with my booking but it was quickly resolved. I was then appointed a makeup artist who was going to complete my makeup. At Charlotte Tilbury it works by you choosing a makeup look which they have created, there is 8 to choose from and then you can adapt it to how you want to look. I choose the Golden Goddess, for the eyes and lips. I then explained that for my skin I wanted it to be glowy and dewy with a contour and highlight. Once we had decided on products she started to work her magic.

I was shocked to discover that she did not prep, prime or cleanse my skin. She went straight in with the Magic Foundation using the Foundation Brush to apply it. She applied a medium coverage, but she didn't ask me how I wanted it but it is clear to see I have blemishes and redness. She then said to add the glow aspect that I wanted she would apply the Light Wonder over the top. I had been wanting to try this for ages, and it is a very thin fluid which did add some life and luminosity to my face. She then added The Retoucher over my blemishes and also under my eyes. This felt light and was easy to apply to the skin. Next she moved on to my eyes and used the The Golden Goddess Palette. She asked me if I wanted it smokey and I said yes. I was surprised that she also did not prime my eyelids. The look in which she applied I myself would not describe as 'smokey'. It was a nice, light golden shimmer but I would have definitely applied more of the darkest shade to make the blend and smoke. She applied the shimmer pigment shade with her fingers, but I would have applied two layers. I know it's all down to personal preference, and I am sounding picky but my eyes definitely did not represent the look which I had chosen. She asked me if I wanted any eyeliner and I said I do use apply a thin layer on the top lash and I do usually do a flick. She used the Rock n Kohl Brown Barbella eyeliner pencil which was a soft pencil. When it can to the flicks she had trouble getting them equal and had to get another girl to come and assist. I am being critical but I felt that my eyeliner was not perfect. She applied the Full Fat Lashes mascara which I did like and my lashes looked full and it added lots of volume. My favourite part of the entire look was my contour, blush and highlight. I was really impressed with the Filmstar Bronze & Glow as it was the perfect shade of bronze for my complexion. The blush she used was the Cheek to Chic in Ecstasy which is a shimmery pink with a darker circle of pink in the centre, I really liked this once it was applied to my face. She then went back to the Bronze and Glow palette to use the highlighter and applied it generously, which is just how I like it. The look was completed by applying the K.I.S.S.I.N.G. lipstick in Stoned Rose and the Lip Lustre in Ibiza Nights. I really liked this combinations, and the lip lustre is super glossy and shimmery which looked really lovely.

I don't mean to be negative as she was lovely and the makeup was nice, but it is not my go to look and I felt as though my eyes for one definitely did not follow 'The Golden Goddess' look. My friends were being friendly but honest and they felt the same as me. My eyes did not look like they have been done by a professional makeup artist. I think I am really picky with my makeup and this is the reason why I don't think I will be having a makeover here again. The experience was lovely but I much prefered my makeup and look from Nars last year. I know that Charlotte Tilbury is known for being natural which is what sets it apart with it's flawless makeup range. but I think the looks which they have created should stay be able to be created whilst maintaining the brand's roots. At the end of the makeover I decided to choose the lipstick and lip lustre with the value of my money. I was in such a rush due to my own fault that I didn't even take a photo of my makeup. I think if I had loved I would have ensured that I had managed to get a selfie or two!

What is your opinion on beauty counter makeovers?

Bem Brasil

This was my third trip to Bem Brasil and I thought it was finally time to write a review. My dad calls this restaurant "a carnivores delight". The concept is very modern and it adds some excitement and variation to your visit. The basic idea is that you get a disc which on one side is red, and on the other is green. The waiters and waitresses bring round different types of meat on huge skewers. If you want the meat of choice you turn your disc green, if you don't fancy it you turn it red. If you do want the meat, you are provided with tongs on your table and the staff will cut the meat off the skewer and you use the tongs to collect it. It is very easy to understand once you have done it a few times. The meat selection is huge - chicken, beef, gammon, lamb, sausages, steak and more. The thing in which we love the most is that you do not just get beef, you have options of garlic or chilli beef adding variety to your plate. If you are a vegetarian they have two big bars of buffet style food. One containing additionals to your plate such as rice, chips, potatoes and hot vegetables. They also have a fish option on the cart. On the other bar they have a wide variety of salad options including cold pasta and potato salads. There is also a variety of breads, cold meats and cheeses available.

We usually go here on a special occasion as it isn't cheap. However, it is a great place to go and socialise with friends and family as you can eat and browse the bars at your ease and pace, and take the meat that you want as and when you want it. The staff are very polite and accommodating as me and my mum like our steak to be well done. They brought round some steak which was rare and we asked if there would be any well done on it's way. The waiter explained if you request they will cook the meat to your personal taste which is really exceptional service.

We went to the restaurant which is situated on Deansgate in Manchester as it is bigger and has more selection than the one in the Northern Quarter. They also have restaurants in Altrincham, Liverpool and Leeds. If you are looking for a hearty meal where you are guaranteed to leave feeling rather full and wanting to return again, this is your place!

Fake Bake Airbrush Instant Fake Tan

My sister was the one who first recommended this to me. I was heading on a night out and realised my legs were pearly white in colour. I asked my sister if she had any instant fake tan as I was going out in 10 minutes time. She pulled out from her stash the  Fake Bake Airbrush Instant Fake Tan. I have never tried any fake tan from Fake Bake previously as it has always been way out my budget. She started to explain how this tan works and I was instantly sold, and told her to spray away. She sprayed my legs in the way a professional does when you got for a spray tan in motions up and down. I was worried that it was going to instantly turn streaky and it would be worse than before.

So all you need to do it just spray your area of choice within the tan and then give it a little rub with a tanning mitt to spread it more evenly if you feel like it is not quite as even as you want it to be. As we had a 10 minute window, she was sprayed and I was gently rubbing in circular motions. It took precisely 2 minutes or even less. I quickly had a look in the mirror and I was instantly impressed. The first thing I noticed was how great the colour was. Unfortunately I think this only comes in one shade which is Luxurious Golden Bronze. I am presuming the idea is that this is a tan which you can build up to your desired colour. Within just one coat I noticed that it suited me really well, and it was the perfect mix of not being too orange, too dark or too shimmery. I was so excited I went in with a second coating, and that was all I had time for as I had to go. All night I was telling everyone how impressed I was with the tan. But all I kept thinking was how much does this cost? as I know how expensive Fake Bake tanning products usually are.

The weekend after I went to Cheshire Oaks which is a designer outlet mall and I went into Sally's. I saw a huge display at the front of the store which had numerous different FakeBake products on it. I managed to find the Airbrush Instant Fake Tan in a 120ml size for just £7.99. I was super impressed and instantly knew that I needed to buy it, as it had lasted for 3-4 days previously before having to reapply. You can also buy this from John Lewis and Boots for more easier convenience, unless you have a local Sally's within your area.

I already know this going to get so much use over the summer when I want more of a tan for the day and night time. Like I say, it is super easy to apply with the spray nozzle, does not have a offence scent and most importantly the colouring is realistic and natural.

Favourite Blushes

One item in my makeup collection which is kept to a minimum is blushes. As you can probably see I always gravitate towards peachy/pink toned blushes with some shimmer. These are the 5 which I always reach for the most on rotation.

First up, MAC Peachykeens is my most used blush ever and this is my second one as I just cannot get enough. I am sure I picked this up on my 18th birthday when I had a makeover at a MAC counter. I instantly fell in love and I have been using it ever since. This is the blush I reach for on a morning when I want a little colour added to my face to bring some life to my cheeks. It is the perfect peachy coral and contains a little shimmer but nothing too over the top. If there is one blusher you need in your collection it is this.

My other MAC blush is from their mineralize line, I have the shade Gentle which is described as a raspberry with gold pearl. This is the darkest and brightest pink within my collection. I have had this for at least 2 years and it has lasted amazingly well. The mineralize range are super pigmented and you just a tiny amount in order for it translate on to the skin. These blushes build very lightly, until you have your desired amount.

I received the Charlotte Tilbury Cheek to Chic in Love Glow for Christmas. When I first opened it I initially thought that the pink tones were maybe going to be a little too dark for my pale complexion. However, I really love this and reach for it often. It is definitely the most pigmented of them all, and I have had experiences when my blush has probably been a little over the top when using this but hey that happens some time! You need a very light dusting on your brush, and it applies very soft and smoothly onto the skin and feels super comfortable.

The Sleek Rose Gold blush was a huge hit within the beauty world when it first launched. It was seen as the drugstore dupe from the ever so famous Nars Orgasm. I really like this, but at the moment I feel like I have neglected it a little. I always bring this out more in the summer months as it the most shimmery blush which I own. It is really pretty when applied, and for £4.99 is a must have for your holiday makeup bag.

NYX Foreplay is my newest addition to my blush collection. I had heard amazing things about their baked blushes, so I decided to buy one. I wish I had been a little bit more adventurous with my colour selection and branched out into more different toned blushers. However, as always I went for something reliable with a pink tone. In terms of the colour selection this is probably the most similar to Sleek's Rose Gold. It is a little lighter in colour and is more of a baby pink shade with a golden shimmer running through it. This is pigmented and the powder is finely milled meaning that you do not have to be too light when applying it.

What is your current go to blush?

Boohoo Holiday Wishlist

I have browsing endless internet sites to find some holiday clothes, and Boohoo have got so many great affordable pieces so I thought I would put together a holiday wishlist.

This Boohoo Scallop Detail Swimsuit is something you cannot go wrong with. Black is a slimming colour, and it has just the right amount of detailing on it with the scallop edging. They have such a great range of swimwear on their site and it is really affordable. I love the detailing on the Willow Wrap Strap Sandals. I think white sandals are perfect for summer, and every year you have to buy one pair which you will wear to death and these would be the perfect pair. I have been eyeing up this Full Length Midi Skirt for a while now. I think it would look lovely on a night out either home or away. The lace detailing is beautiful and I think it would be really easy to wear with a simple top and sandals.

I love the vibrant colour and the pattern of this Lucy Printed Kaftan (it's made for me!). I love kaftans as they are perfect to wear around the pool or beach as they are so lightweight and can be thrown over your beachwear with ease. I have seen so many versions of playsuits similar to this Elsa Embroidered Playsuit in places like Topshop and they have been rather expensive. I think the blue detailing is beautiful, and makes it look so much more expensive than what it actually costs. I think the Aztec Chiffon Beach Trousers would be brilliant just like the kaftan for throwing over beachwear. You could also wear these on daytrips as they are light and breezy.

This Double Layer Woven Strapless Playsuit would look lovely at night time paired with some sandals and some simple jewellery. I like that it is a little more dressy but nothing over the top. Having a pair of sandals with a small heel is a must have for me on holiday. I am only 5 foot tall so I always love to add some height but still be comfortable. The Mollie Strapped Jelly Sandals are a plain black design with a strap around the ankle adding some detail. With these I know I would be able to wear them with everything and anything within my suitcase. Slogan swimwear is huge this year and I love this Mermaid Swimsuit which costs £18. I love the vibrant grape purple shade and the slogan is fun and girly.

Have you seen anything in this wishlist you would like for your holiday?

NYX Custom Palette

Whilst taking a weekend trip to Sheffield, I went to Meadowhall and they had a really big Boot's store. Whilst wandering the aisles of their NYX stand I stumbled across a big custom palette section which set my heart racing. I have never seen this before and I thought it was such great value. I managed to persuade the other girls that this was such a great idea, and perfect for holiday. You can choose from a 4 or a 9 palette. I thought I wouldn't go overboard so I choose the 4 palette. It took us at least half an hour to choose 4 shades. It was such a hard decision as there was so much choice. By the end the other girls were sick to death of choosing, and they were getting stressed about it which I would really funny as that's how I always get!

The 4 colours which I finally chose were Sex Kitten, Pixie, Vixen, Addiction. The eyeshadow palette was £3.50, and the inserts were £2.50 each. I thought this was great value and it was a good investment. I always think no matter what palette you buy, there is always some colours which you barely ever touch. I have certain tones of shades which I always gravitate to, as they are what I think look the best on me. This is why I love custom palettes so much as you can personally choose your favourite colours, and put together something which compliment each other and you know you will use.

I used this for the first time on the night that I bought them and I found that some of the shadows needed to be sprayed with my Urban Decay Fixing Spray in order to bring the pigments out. I actually found that these have a smooth and easy to blend consistency. I applied my eyeshadow primer before this and I found that during the night they latest well. I was really happy with the combination of what I had chosen to put in my palette as I used all 4 shades that night and they worked beautifully together.

I really love the idea of these custom palettes as you can probably tell. I think these are great value as the shadows are usually £3.50 each, so you are saving £1 just by buying the pan form. I have had my eye on the NYX Highlight and Contour Palette for a while now and it is a great price at £18. Within that Boots concession you are able to buy a custom contour palette which I was really excited about, however they were sold out in the correct shades for my skintone. I so hope that they bring these custom palettes to all of the stores soon, as I think this a brilliant idea. I for one will be being it for sure.

Have you tried any of the NYX eyeshadows?

Recent Drugstore Buys

So I was recently going on a night out and I needed to picks some essentials. I adore and always get if I can the Fleur and Fabulous lashes. They look super natural but definitely add volume and length. I like that they are not too thick or dark and they are easy to apply. They are also just the right size for my eye which surprises me as I usually need to chop a little bit off. These are just as good as any MAC lash and such great value at £5.95. All the lashes in Fleur's range are really lovely and I recommend them if you are looking for a budget friendly pair. With some lashes you only get one use out of them, but with these as long as you peel them off carefully you can definitely get two uses.

The MUA Undress Your Skin Highlighter has had huge hype surrounding it and whilst wandering the aisles of SuperDrug I decided to pick it up. At just £3 I wanted to see what all the fuss was about. My first impression of this is that it is a pigmented product which does add shimmer and glow. However, it definitely  takes more than one application to achieve my desired glow. My glow expectation isn't actually a disco ball in case your wondering, I like a highlighter which makes me all glowy yet looks natural. I currently find applying it with my fingers works much better than with my brush. I would very much appreciate it if you have this highlighter to tell me how you find it works best on you.

I don't own many products from Revlon, it is just not a brand which I naturally gravitate to. I knew I wanted to put something new to the test, and wanted to stay clear of the Collection concealer as I've tried that before. One thing I did discover on my search is that the drugstore really lacks in its range of concealer choices. If I was lucky a brand had one or two concealers available, some didn't even have any in their ranges. I had never realised the huge gap for them in the beauty market before, and the drugstore needs to massively up their game. I decided to settle on the Revlon Colourstay Concealer as I much prefer a liquid concealer over anything else as I find it much more easier to blend, and it feels much less cakey and thick on your skin. I got this in the shade Light and it is a pretty good match for my skin. I like the feel and consistency of this as it quite thin and light and allows easy and quick application. It does remind me of both the collection concealer and the Nars creamy concealer. It definitely isn't a high coverage, I would put it in the light-medium coverage category as it is buildable. If you don't have blemishes and just have light areas to cover I think this is a great concealer to pick up.

Have you got any new drugstore recommendations?

The Monthly Roundup for June: Cocktails, Sale Shopping and Moving

As mentioned in my May roundup I didn't have huge plans for June as everything seems to be happening in July. It has been a month of getting my head down and concentrating on my final placement. I have also been trying to work as much as possible to make some money for summer for when I am back home, as I am not able to start my job until September.

I took an exciting trip to Sheffield to see my friend who is living and work there. I went with my two other friends and it was so fun taking a trip to another city, as I love taking spontaneous weekends away. We took the train which was lovely as the journey only took about an hour and I felt like a little girl going away on an exciting trip. We went to Meadowhall which is a big indoor shopping centre, we had some amazing food at TGI Friday's as a treat and then did some shopping. I had been ranting on to everyone about NYX in Boot's, so I dragged all of my friends in. I was determined not to buy anything but in that store as it was a large one, they have there own build you own custom palette (post coming next week!). I have not seen this in any other store and I could not resist. For tea we decided to make fajitas to save a bit of cash, and I got an overwhelming feeling of how much I would love to live with the 3 of them in a flat as we would have so much fun. We had a fab night drinking too many cocktails, and catching up on all the gossip as always! It has made me super excited for the holiday as these girls mean the world to me.

At the end of next month I am jetting off with those girls to Lanzarote, which is super exciting. This only means for thing - buying holiday clothes. All the sales started at the middle of the month, and I could have gone crazy online as there was sooo many bargains. Sometimes sales can be so hit and miss but these ones have been really good. It all started with a trip to the Zara sales in store as it is my favourite shop ever. My mum bought me a beautiful cropped bomber jacket which I have wanted for ages for my birthday and I am super excited to finally be able to wear it at the start of next month. I managed to not spend too much in the stores as I had already made a bit hefty ASOS order and bough some shoes summer sandals from Topshop.

I have been starting to pack up my things from uni and taking things back home slowly but shortly. I am definitely ready to move back home and I've started a countdown on my phone. I have enjoyed uni, but I am more than ready to start the next chapter, which is so exciting. I am a messy person so the thought of having to pack is a killer. Thankfully my parents are coming up to help me move out as as I have managed to collate quite a lot of stuff over my 3 years here.

The most exciting news to come from this month is that I got my last essay results back and after completing every calculation possible I will graduate with a 2:1. I am super happy with this as I had a really tough 2nd year and finished with a low 2:2, therefore I had to do really well this year. Unfortunately, since I don't officially finish uni until September I don't get to graduate until November. This is a shame as so many of my friends are graduating in July, but it will give me something exciting to look forward to after the summer.

I have got high expectations just for July, so I am glad it has finally arrived.
